I’m George Hackforth-Jones.
I’m a writer and Global Creative Director at AMV BBDO, currently leading creative for Guinness, Snickers and The RSPCA. Before that I was a Creative Partner at BBH London, and before that I was a professional clown. But that’s for another bio.
I make work that’s changed UK law, launched global brand platforms and seen me offered (and turn down) a £10k publishing advance because I wanted to annoy David Cameron. My wife still hasn’t forgiven me.
My work has been exhibited at the Design Museum, called “extreme left wing bigotry” by the Daily Telegraph and been recognised at every major international award show, though not by my Mum, who still has no idea what I do.
